C&G Construction of Louisiana, Inc. has 27 years of experience in the construction industry serving clients throughout Southern Louisiana. Projects completed include new commercial buildings, residential homes and historical renovations including many in Historical Districts and the French Quarter of New Orleans.
We are extremely proud of our long history in the construction industry and are equally excited about our future. In directing resources, continuing education and field experience, our professional staff of owners and supervisors have become leading experts in the field of green building and high quality affordable and custom housing. We have been awarded over nine platinum LEED certificates to date with several more pending. We build to US DOE Builders Challenge and Enterprise Green Communities criteria as a standard practice.
We feel that community outreach and growth through job opportunities for neighborhood residents, especially Section 3 and DBE qualified, is a civic duty and is therefore a policy of C&G Construction of Louisiana, Inc. We also provide expert legal counsel (as a certified legal expert in construction) pro bono to the CIty of New Orleans District Attorney’s office to help prosecute contractor fraud cases involving the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The owners – CJ Minor and Guy Paternostro are both New Orleans natives having personally been touched by Hurricane Katrina and fully understand the need to rebuild our great city, our communities and our culture. Our commitment to remain and rebuild never waivers; our mission is to bring back the heart and soul of New Orleans: its people.
